Standing on Ostend beach in Belgium as a teenager having travelled around Europe in a orange Morris Marina with a woody woodpecker head on the bonnet and a coat hanger aerial travelling with uncle Phil to escape the madness at home, and i knew i had walked on that beach before a past life moment clearly remembered to this day ....................... we have had many lives and too love yourself briefly during those times i am sure is repeated and repeated again .................. when ever i look at the work of Leon Spilliaert it is like looking into a mirror
